About

Studio Sunanda is a creative studio that creates handcrafted whimsical art that celebrates life's milestones, through greeting cards, art prints, stickers, and stationery. Studio Sunanda is an inclusive and values-driven small business that celebrates diversity across life experiences.

  • Our mission

To celebrate making life meaningful on your own timeline and in your own way, helping people feel valued, special, and supported.

  • Our vision

To craft a world in which living deliberately and with intention is celebrated in all its forms.

  • Authenticity

We believe in embracing the messiness of life: not just the picture-perfect moments but all the moments in between.

  • Courage

We are proud to speak from the heart and connect with people through every part of the human experience–from the wonderful to the woeful. We are not afraid to tackle difficult topics if it aligns with our mission and vision.

  • Inclusivity

We are an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly organization that seeks to amplify the representation of marginalized experiences in media and art.

  • Accountability

We believe in taking responsibility for our actions. We prioritize ethical sourcing, fair pricing, and sustainable production processes.

Studio Sunanda is based in Toronto, Ontario, originally home to many indigenous peoples including the Wendat, the Anishnaabe, and the Haudenosaunee. As I'm a recent newcomer to this land, I'm early in my journey in learning about this place and its history. I seek to learn more about the history of indigenous art and culture that shapes the creative spaces we inhabit today and hope to encourage others to do so as well.

Hello! I'm Sunanda.

Hello! I'm Sunanda (she/her) and I live in Toronto, Ontario, with my two cats. After 12 years in the corporate world, working as a learning experience designer, I'm excited to share my passion for creativity and art with the world. My purpose in life is to help people feel more seen and to foster greater connection between others. My hope is that Studio Sunanda can take us a few steps closer to a world that's more joyful, connected, and human.
